Foreign Investors - How Are You Transferring Funds

A common question I am getting from my foreign investors buying in the US is how they will be able to transfer funds to purchase property from their international account. Likewise, once they purchase the property, a common question is how they will transfer the monthly income generated by the property back to them.

Sending money in for the purchase is usually handled easily by wiring the money in, but tranferring the money out can be troublesome if a US bank account is not setup because a foreign investor has to physically come to the US to setup an account.

I'm interested in understanding how others have approached the issues of transferring money in and out of the US for their property investments.

My clients are mostly in Europe and I found that HSBC has a Premier Account that can establish accounts in both countries, Simplifying the transfers in both directions and Rental Income payment.
