Real Estate in Mexico City

Hi BP,

My name is Andy and I'm interested in property in Mexico City / CDMX and was wondering if anyone on the forums have had any experience as an American citizen acquiring property down there, and what that might entail?

I just came back from there and really love the city, culture, people, food. , and now wondering what the process might be for acquiring something there, where it might make the most sense, and if the numbers check out in the short and potentially long term.
