Moving to Houston - hey Houston folks! Anything I should know?

BNI groups, REIA meetings, Cashflow events coming up?

I'm looking to purchase a business (dry cleaner / laundromat) in the city for under $2MM asap so please recommend a good business broker.

Also, looking to volunteer too. Any good organizations to help out with?

Awesome! Houston has a very active investing scene. There are a lot of free networking meetings. One of the best is the Jet event every third Wednesday at the Texans bar and grille in city center. Free food and beer.  The bigger clubs are R.I.C.H., The Wealth Club, Prosperity Group, Lifestyles Unlimited, Real Estate Titans, Renters Warehouse, and many more!
