New Cleveland multifamily investor
Hey everyone,
I graduated from college a year and a half ago, and I've been working and saving up money to do my first deal. I've lived in the Cleveland area my whole life and I'm interested in 2-4 unit multifamily homes on the west side of Cleveland and surrounding suburbs. If there's any similar investors in the area, I'd love to hear about your experiences and strategies you've used to get started investing in the area.
Thanks,
Marcus

The key to Jame's post was that the property would need to be "owner occupied" not a pure investment property to get 3.5% down. Depending on your situation, it would be a good start to live at your property and would give you a certain appreciation for owning and managing rental property. If you have other living arrangements then the conventional is really your only option (other than hard money). @Marcus H., @Brad Fausett
