Good morning Mike,

My best advice would be to be as detailed as you can when seeking advice/mentorship. Let people know what aspects of REI you're interested in and what kind of experience you have. If you don't have experience, let the community know what you've been reading/learning and what you're looking to learn moving forward. Offer some kind of value, let people know what days/times you're available to meet and/or help out in any way.

We know you're interested in real estate otherwise you wouldn't be on BP or be posting on the forums for that matter. However, you've got to put yourself out there in a way where readers will know exactly what you know and want. One-line posts are too vague.

Best of luck to you!

-Abel
