Tax liens : Best book on tax liens

Honestly I don't think there is a good one I have found. The biggest issue is that is very local. Even when the state law is statewide the way it is implemented gets very local. Most of the books I have seen or read are at best a very broad nationwide overview. If you just need an idea of how it works read a book. The 16pct solution book is good for what it is...but now fairly old. I think it was written 15 years ago. Also very broad and covers about 15 states from what I remember...2-3-4 pages on each state. My advice is go to 2-3 sales. Figure out how it works where you are. Ask lots of questions. Ask lots of different people. See if they have an orientation session. Also ask around at your local REIA groups to find the tax sale experts. Once you figure it out...write the book.
