tax lien or warrant deed

if i buy land with a otc tax warrant  and irs tax lien with no land does that transfer to me

Hi Gary,

I saw your question, if you are buying Over The Counter, you are buying directly from the county. If you are buying a tax lien certificate you would be buying an actual number with a specific description, if you are buying land you will be buying a tax deed which will have very specific description. 

Keep in mind, some states sell tax lien certificates, other states sell tax lien certificates and tax deeds, which are tax defaulted properties.
