I received a quote from State of Alabama for a Tax Lien that was sold to the state in 2014. Property has a Manufactured Home on it. Did I read somewhere that the MH does not come with the property?

It depends on if the manufactured home title was purged to the land or not. If it wasn't and the home is treated as personal property, you only have the land.

@Robert Sims, If the tax assessor's record shows an appraised value for "MH" then the title was not cancelled, the mobile home is still personal property, and it did not pass in the sale. On the other hand, depending on age, it might be abandoned.

@Denise EvansSo, to be clear, in the image below, the MH is separate from the property? To me it looks as if it is included in the appraised value...meaning it is indeed a part of this property. Thanks!

@Robert Sims, it is included in the tax appraisal of the property, and is taxed, as is the land, but the mobile home is not sold in the tax sale. Only real property is sold in the tax auction. The mobile home is not real property.

@Robert Sims I would try to get the home too if I were you, depending on the year. The cost to move it off your land usually would compel the owner to just give it to you or sell it to you for a low amount.
