New to real estate note investing

I've read the book "Real Estate Note Investing" and ready to learn more about purchasing notes.

Any advise/suggestions on developing a plan and  where to start would be greatly appreciated.

@Jason Sherrod I haven't read that note book, but I have read several others.  Most are pretty similar, they are a good introduction if you are totally new to notes, get you familiar with the concepts, the terminology. They don't get into the detailed nuts and bolts of it though.

If you really want to get into notes, books are not going to get you there, they are not nearly detailed enough.  The most detailed book I've seen is Alex Goldovsky's "Bulletproof Title Due Diligence".  It provides a lot of good info on one (very important) aspect of note investing.

There is an awful lot to know, it would take many volumes to cover it all.
