New Member from Detroit, Michigan

Hi All,

I'm a new-ish member from Detroit, Michigan (don't hate on my poor city) on BP. I've been creeping on the forums and blog posts for a little while now, and i've finally decided to say hi. This is only my second post, my other is a simple question re: finding good inspectors in the Detroit area; if anyone knows of one, please let me know.

I'm a marketing professional working for a large automotive OEM currently, but would like to slowly and eventually transition in to real estate. I'm always looking for other people that share my same passion, and would love to network with anyone in the metro Detroit area.

I'm hoping to learn a lot on the site from the blog posts, forum discussions, and podcasts. I've already read and listened to a lot and am loving all of the content that is available at my fingertips. Keep it up, everyone!

If anyone really knows Detroit, they would know the suburbs are a different story.   Also, I see some good beginning signs of renovation of the city, near the city center.
