Rehabbing Course/Mentoring Services
ALL:
I would like your opinion about an opportunity I was approached with via email. I'm familiar with the group responsible for the rehabbing course/mentoring services(I took a course on "Flipping Foreclosures" with them). The course contained a lot of material I already knew, but they did teach me things about bank-owned properties and how to go about wholesaling foreclosures. I paid quite a bit for the course and I'm still in the process of trying to complete my first deal, but things are not going as well as I anticipated in my current market.
Recently, I talked with one of the instructors and he has a Rehabbing Course he's about to start soon. He said he will take on 10 students for the course and you can choose from 3 options: 1) He'll teach you and walk you through your 1st rehab; this option is $10,000. 2) Going to the center for class is optional, but he will do 3 rehabs for you and you split the profits 50/50; this plan is $18,000. 3) You don't go to the center at all and Juan will do 3 rehabs for you(I don't think you're splitting the profits on this one); this option is $29,000. What are your thoughts on this? I told him I would get back with him soon about it.

Tara L. - It sounds like you've made a decision on how you're going to proceed, which is great.
That said, I'm here to hold your feet to the fire. On June 29 you said you'd fill out your profile here on the site, but as of yet, you haven't. Be proactive and get that done. That goes for anyone else reading who does not have the various important text areas of their profile filled in. People search for other users all day long, and our site's search abilities will pick up content from your profile.
So, if you were to write that you're an investor looking to focus on DC and Virginia in the area of say, rehabbing, and then describe your experience, goals, needs/wants, and what you bring to the game, people can find that information.
Lots of luck as you move forward on your journey, and please know that we're here to help you out.
