not sure if this is the correct forum to post in but basically trying to get my feet wet

What i have

- a plumber my brother who does really well but is tired of doing houses for everyone else my brother is swamped with work but wants to get into rehab of his own houses, his credit isnt the best and he is tied down financially with family and bills

- i have good credit and about 20 k to invest

Any ideas i have read about many people having problems with the contractor and people to do the work onthe inside that is where we have no problems, i just dont know where to start do i go to the bank for a mortgage loan? Also need help buying places, would be looking for places that need alot of inside work i would think because thats where we have the experience

Anyone have a good gameplan do i go to someone and ask what amount im qualified for really have no idea how to get it going like i said the rehab work is the easy part for us

Sorry if this has been posted would appreciate any help

Thanks

Phil
