Partnering with contractor on SFR flip

I am hoping some of you can provide ideas on how a partnership can be structured.  I found the home and purchased it and will provide all of the financing.  One of the strategies I am thinking about is partnering with a GC but need input on structure and % of the deal.  I started thinking we would do 50/50 but then someone said since I brought the deal and the financing that I should get more than 50%.  Not looking to be greedy but not looking to shoot self in foot either.  Any insight???

Hi Andy,

Just curious, why would you want to "partner" with the GC?  Most people partner when they don't have enough financing, but you have that covered.   Have you thought about just asking the contractor to provide you a bid on the job and you just pay him a negotiated price to do the work?
