Cash Investment on Flip Project

Hi Bigger Pockets,

I'm working with an investor and GC who is looking for a cash investment on a flip that he already has in process. The project has about seven other investors already contributing. The numbers look promising and I'm interested in making the investment. Two questions, 1. What type of contract is best suited to define the terms of the deal? 2. Besides reviewing the budget and verifying the projected selling price, what other key info should I be verifying to limit my risk?

Thanks in advance for any input!
