How should I go about on the Kitchen, Bathroom for a rental
I cleared out most of the stuff out of the kitchen and bathroom for a better picture. I'll live in the house while I go to college then rent it out later. Basically DIY project as a I go. Insurance will cover mostly new flooring & painting on the walls, but that's about it. I want a new make over on budget, but using materials that are durable for a beating because of tenants.
I plan to use Allure Vinyl Plank Flooring on living room, basement, hall way and have carpet for the bedrooms. I'll be using laminate for the counters, then using unfurnished cabinets(I will do the staining on it). Still unsure what flooring in the kitchen but leaning more towards having a Vinyl Plank Flooring.
As for the Bathroom, only thing that is decent, is the flooring since it was replaced a couple years back. I want a modern makeover on budget, just like the kitchen as well. I have ideas of using new tiles, backslash. I don't know if I should have a glass door for the bathtub or just leave it with curtains. What you suggest I use for the bathroom?
