Contractors in North Jersey

Hello,

I am new to the forums but i have been reading for the past couple weeks.

I have closed on a house today in Wayne, NJ and have been getting quotes from several general contractors. But the estimates i am getting are absurd.

I am rehabbing this house for myself so i get to learn from my own house before moving on to others.

Can anyone recommend any good general contractor with reasonable prices who are used to per sqf or per piece prices?

If not i am going to start sub contracting the house, please also advise any good subcontractors with investor prices in the area for flooring (tiles, hardwood), plumbing, electrical, roof, hvac, carpenter (doors and windows), sheetrock etc.

Thank you very much for the help.
