Kitchen Granite - countertops for cabinets and Island

This is for a flip property.

Initially we thought we will use the same granite (pattern - Ruby Sapphire) for both cabinets counter top and for the island. We bought standard 108" and 26" slabs for cabinets and for the island.

Our granite guy recommends a larger slab to avoid several joints for island instead of using standard slabs.

But we are not finding the same pattern for larger slab. If we go for another pattern for the island - should we just go for a  pattern that matches closely to the cabinet counter top or should we go for a plain granite ?

Some one suggested to be plain on the island if the pattern is used on the cabinets counter top.

Any suggestions ?
