 I would suggest you not approach a potential private lender until you know what type of project you have in mind. Do not ask for funds until you know how much you will need, how long you will need it, how you will secure your lender, what return you can offer, and how you will pay them back. Otherwise, you may compromise or completely lose your credibility.
