Briar bushes! Help!!
How do you permanently remove briar bushes so that they don't return? Dig down to the roots or any poison?

Good luck on this. I have a friend that thought they removed the roots, but they kept growing back. He later went and drilled holes in the new growth, poured kerosene in and lit them on fire. No injuries or extra fires - but the danged things came back a year later. His ongoing Facebook posts detailing his fight against these particular bushes were pretty funny and lasted about 3 years.
