Telephone Line Easement

Normally when doing a rehab I cut out all phone jacks and remove all phone wires in the house. Some are always bit busted, and I've never had a tenant want a home phone.

This house has an overhead wire crossing my neighbor's back yard, attached to my garage roof, wire touches the rolled roofing(what's left of it),  then attaches to my house,  runs down the siding and into a plastic box.

It's my understanding that they have an easment,  but where does that easment end?

Do they have to keep them a certain height?

Does easment give them the right to attach to my siding?, my roof?

After several transfers,  long hold times and having to explain why I dont have an account number a dozen times, they took my name and number down for the service tech to call me back: just want to be armed with info and other people's experiences.

I'd love to just cut the wires and remove altogether, but at a minimum they need to remove the wires so I can reroof then reattach without having them rub the roof.
