I would like to see if maybe someone can help me out. My friend wanted to buy a mobile home in which I offered to let him borrow the money for the purchase. The understanding of this was to get the mobile home, remodel it, and re-sell it obviously we would split the cost on the remodel and at the end we would split half of whatever was left. My question is should I be charged for workers comp and general liability, that he had to pay as a sole proprietor? Mind you he was doing 2 mobile homes at the same time. Credit card interests that he incurred for things he put on his credit card? This was a one time thing. He is now asking me to fill out a W-9. I did not charge him any interest on the money he borrowed! Thanks in advance.
