Foundation Repair and Inspection in New Orleans

Posted

I have been looking for a rental home in the New Orleans area for about 6 months.  We got close on a couple, but they didn't work out for various reasons.  I have one in the middle of financing and it has extensive foundation repair issues.  It would be easier to just walk and forgo our deposit, but I would like to purchase the home.  There are A LOT of houses in the city with some type of foundation issues (termites, water, etc.), this is the second we have found with foundation issues.

I am new to the New Orleans home buying market, but not to real estate BRRR. The estimates I am getting for the foundation are all over the place. Has anyone had good success with any foundation repair companies or foundation engineers? I really want it done correctly. Time is critical for getting my bids on this.
