Indianapolis Neighborhood - Woodruff Place

Wondered if fellow Indy investors had any insights into the Woodruff Place neighborhood/area.  I have been driving the area and although it has some "rough parts" just west of Keystone some of the homes are really spectacular - to the east of Keystone.  Wonder if more experienced Indy folks could shed some light on where to pick up more details regarding the city's plans for the area beyond the neighborhood website.  Ultimately, I am looking at the area for buy and hold.  Thanks in advance.

@Aaron B.

Check out this website: http://indyeast.org.  I think the area you're talking about is the 'promise zone' and lots of money is being invested there.  St. Clair place has seen prices rise substantially over the last couple of years.  If you're willing to hold for 5-10 years, I think it would be a great place to by.  Just pick your block carefully!  As you know if you've been driving the area....
