Investing in the South Chicago

Eric Robertson
Posted

I am from the Milwaukee area and have interest in investing Multifamily properties in South Shore, Hyde Park, and Woodlawn areas.  I'm curious to know peoples thoughts on renting in those areas as well as what the long term forecast is trending towards there?

@Eric Robertson A good broker to talk to there is Noah Birk from Kiser as he does a majority of his deals as a broker in that pocket.  I will send you a DM of the podcast he did with us that dives deep into that area.  As an investor and Property Manager myself in those areas of Chicago the best I can say is there is certain blocks or corners of each of those areas that is going to be night and day to the other corners in the same neighborhood.  Hyde Park is in a different level all together from South Shore and Woodlawn as Hyde Park might not give you the same cash flow you might be looking for in South Shore, Washington Park, Bronzeville.
