Tree Removal/Foundation Repair in Atlanta

Nick Pope
Posted

Hey everyone. I'm looking at an Atlanta property that has a large tree close to the corner of the duplex that has caused some cracking in the brick and likely some foundation issues. The owner had a structural engineer come inspect it, and they recommended removing the tree and having the foundation remediated. The property and tree are in somewhat of a tricky location (busy road, tree in between narrowish gap between this house and the neighbor). Does anyone have any recommendations on tree removal providers or foundation experts in town? Also contemplating whether to include a contingency in the offer on getting the city to approve the tree removal, though it would likely take a while to get the permit back. Appreciate any thoughts/recommendations!
