I need advice on the Gotha / Windermere area
I'm thinking about buying a few homes in the Gotha area. Gotha is located next to Windermere. Windermere is home to many celebrities like Shaq, Wesley Snipes, Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, Grant Hill and so many more. Windermere is also where David Siegel is building the largest home in America. Gotha is only about two square miles but has an estimated median household income of $101,864. This neighborhood is zoned for some of the best schools in Orange County. The neighborhood is right across the street from The Health Central Hospital which was recently acquired by Orlando Health. Health Central is now finishing its first phase of its expansion. The hospital also purchased several acres next to the hospital for more than $90 million. The Braemar neighborhood just completed down the street with homes up to 1.4 million. Another new neighborhood coming to the area is Fire Creek at Gotha. Down the street on Hemple Ave is Yellow Dog Eats. Yellow Dog is one of the best sandwich restaurants in Orlando. The reviews for Yellow Dog speak for them self. Also right down the street is Nehrling Gardens. There are so many great things that this small community has to offer. There are already some nice upper middle classhomes in that neighborhood. Many of the houses probably need to be tore down. It also sits on two lakes in the back of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is at the corner Hemple Ave and Old Winter Garden Rd. The apartment complex next to the neighborhood was just acquired for more than $40 million. Am I crazy or should I buy as many houses as I can in that neighborhood?
