Hello everyone,

I have a question about co signinig for someone else. I have someone who wants to refinence their home and is looking for someone to cosign do to the fact that their income might not be enough. Is it a good idea for me to cosign? Does it benefit me? Does it make me a co-partner of the property? Is it going to effect my credit rating and will it make it harder for me to get a loan my self as I'm looking to purchase property myself in the near future. Thanks for reading and any help is greatly appreciated. I'm a newbe here and been reading your posts for a month. Great site.
