Looking for a CPA who specializes in real estate investing!

Hello, I am looking to connect with a CPA, preferably in the San Diego area but remote works just fine! I would like to set up the accounting for my rental unit correctly while I am still pretty fresh (just got the duplex that I am house hacking earlier this month).

Also, how advisable would it be to try to do my own taxes using a tool like Turbotax for Landlords? Of course, professional tax advice is always better, but I am just curious to see how many people do their own taxes vs. finding a specialized rei accountant. I want to do taxes correctly, and maximize deductions.
