Notary or Office for Out of State Closing

I'm selling a property in Virginia and am closing this Friday. Any recommendations on a Notary or place to sign the closing docs in the Santa Monica, Venice or El Segundo area?

I would prefer some form of real estate office that understands a closing can take some time.  Plus, establishing relationships with local real estate professionals is always a plus.

Nick Hedberg Hey nick. I've purchased 5 houses all out of state. There is no such thing as over night ups or fedex or anything here. I've got it down to a science. We set closing on a Friday. On The Friday BEFORE closing the tittle company e mails me the closing Docs and instructions. I print them And on Sat my wife and I review them and initial and sign the signature pages not requiring a notary. Then we take the signature pages only (usually only 3 or 4)requiring a notary to our Credit union. They provide free notary service. We sign the signature pages and have them notorized. I buy the girls at the bank a box of chocolate For their time. I return home and put the pages in their proper place in the docs packet. Monday morning I overnight the package out of here and e-mail a copy of the signature pages to the tittle co. The docs usually get to Colorado sometime the following Thursday or Friday just in time for the sellers closing. I always sign a dispersal extension just in case. The credit union will do a courtesy closing for free but it's hard to schedule and I hate to take their time since they can't charge for the service. Every time I have done that the package gets there late (then rents and taxes need to be refigured). so for us this method works better. RR
