Looking to House Hack in LA

Rachel Schroeder
Posted

Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy my first property, and since I've been living and working in LA for 7 years, I've decided it makes sense to start with a house hack in the LA area. I'm new to investing and I'm in the beginning process of building a team to help me achieve my goal.

Can anyone recommend an experienced agent that has expertise in house hacks/multifamily properties? Someone also willing to work with a newbie investor?

I'm also looking for a lender that is familiar with the film industry - since I work on a short term basis, my income can vary month to month. That said, the salary for my job is relatively high and my savings rate is good, and I've been able to save around $90k for down payment/reserves with more in a brokerage account that I could access if needed.

Thanks so much!
-Rachel
