15th street (Booker & Johnson) crime?

Hi, I may have an opportunity to purchase a property on 15th street (Booker & Johnson) but the Trulia crime map shows it area as 2nd from darkest blue.  Is this block safe enough or is it best to avoid ?    TIA !
