Does house-hacking income affect DTI?
Hello all,
I just purchased my first property and am renting out two of the bedrooms; it is my primary residence. Does the rental income from these bedrooms count toward the income side of my DTI calculation?
If not, how do people house-hack their way through multiple properties if lenders count the full mortgage payment against their DTI without considering any rental income from the property?
Thank you!
