Chasing the money

I have a theory I have used when I worked retail that I want to transfer to my RE investing, and I thought I would share with all of you.

If you chase the money, you will always be chasing.  If you find a way to help others, the money will follow.

Take a minute to think about that.

Help teach someone who wants to get into the business, and he just might send some deals your way.

Help someone more experienced than you, and he might help you when you need it.

Help someone with money, and they might take you on as a partner.

In apartments, if you neglect your tenets, they will simply move out.  You make money when you provide a nice place for them to call home.

I could go on forever, but please share your experiences here, so we can all learn from them.
