Interest in Williamson County/North Austin Meetup
"Wilco REI Synergy"
A colleague and I are considering starting a meet-up to serve the Round Rock/North Austin/Williamson County area. Many of you may know that there is another one that has been meeting in Round Rock. These guys have been putting out some great information and I would definitely encourage you to check that one out. This meeting we propose would NOT be intended as a "competition" with that one.
What we are considering, however, would be focused less on information and more on informal networking, and learning through guided conversation and possibly even opportunities for evaluating or pitching deals. Please post your thoughts below: Do you think there is a need in this area? Are you already attending a meet-up regularly? What would you like to get out of one? What time frame would you like to have one?

there is a georgetown Meetup currently run by Poem Turner. Costin and I started one in Round Rock and just moved it to north Austin where we have more room, more time , and can meet on a weeknight. It is now called Austin W2 RE Meetup. We meet at Quest IRA the third Thursday evening of each month.
