Starting out in Harrisburg, PA
Hello everyone! I'm interested in buying small multi-family properties in Harrisburg, PA. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good realtor in the area? I'll be in town Friday through Sunday, and I'd love to view some properties. I have a few that I'm interested in. I frequently visit Harrisburg, so I know the lay of the land, but I'd love the feedback of someone that has been in the market for a while.

@David Rosengaft We've been buying in the fastest growing county in PA. for many years. (Cumberland) Largest employer is state government and second largest is the Federal government, other companies have a large presence including Hershey, Amazon, and a slew of warehouses from Whirlpool, Wayfare, Chewy, etc. Shipping and transportation are big with north south and east west interstates crossing the area and service to 50% of the US overnight. Prices are much lower than Fairfax (relatives used to live in Fairfax) at that time prices were 50% of DC. Rents are growing, the economy is growing and its a great place to invest. We just sold a smoking deal on a 3 unit yesterday, over 3,000 sq ft finished plus 2,000 sq ft basement with a 2 car garage, all hardwood floors and 3 stone fireplaces, listed for under $100,000 in Cumberland County.
At a property (also in Cumberland) purchased in November, we have already raised rents 20%, renting the most recent unit on the first day and 13 applicants. We have 3 more deals closing in Feb, that are all great deals.
I've bought and sold over 900 properties for my own ijnventory and this is the best market in many years.
