Team building to invest in Ohio!!

Hi all,

We are new investors looking to get our feet wet in OOS Investing. We are looking at OH due to proximity (we are in DC). Columbus and Cleveland come to mind at the first look. Would like to start with small MF units in B/C+ areas with positive cash flow and appreciation potential. Looking to build a team of investor realtors, property managers and contractors. Any help/suggestions/connections will be appreciated.

Looking forward to connecting with some of you!!

@Gaurav Bandi

Ohio is a great market to invest in - there’s a sub market for everyone! Cleveland and Columbus are a bit different but offers loads of opportunities.

Columbus is know for its strong stable appreciation with slightly less cash flow while Cleveland is known for its strong cash flow but slightly less appreciation and a little bit rougher of neighborhoods.

The most important thing is the local team wherever you choose. You can cross over one street and be in a completely different neighborhood (I.e Parsons Ave, I-71, Hague, Livingston in Columbus) and without having a good local team you wouldn’t know.
