Best Rental Markets in NJ

Hi All,

I want to get my first rental property but unsure of what areas in NJ that would be worth looking into. I've read online that Cherry Hill is a good area, hopefully some experienced investors could shed some light on how to get started in NJ. 

Another option that I have been considering is to look into out of state rentals and Dallas has been on my mind.

@Osama Syed your financial objectives will largely dictate where you invest. Cherry Hill has solid options for buyers because prices are low, but, for the most part you'll find homeowners there and not as many renters as a town like Newark, New Brunswick etc. Out of state investing can be a good option, but I usually advise people to limit the out of start investing to towns that you can drive to in a couple of hours or after you feel that you have exhausted all options in your current area. Its usually good advice to be relatively close to your first investment, but several factors play into that decision like your risk tolerance, the type of investment youre making etc
