Listing on MLS before closing

Hi all just a quick question on legality of something here in NJ. Can I purchase a house put in escrow and have a realtor list it on MLS before I officially close on the house? My contract clearly states that I will be either buying the house and rehab flip or market the house in a "as in" condition on the the MLS.

Thanks,

Hi Michael,

Before you can list it on the mls with an agent, you need to sign a listing agreement. And since you dont officially own the property, that agreement cannot be created. Hope this helps!
