Hello All,

I wanted to hear some feedback on the Piscataway maket in NJ. Is it a good market to invest in?

I am new to real estate and would love some expert advice on this area.

Thank you!

Most of NJ overall is a bit pricey for investment options. Three ways to make it work, use an FHA on your first purchase, invest C class areas, or have a significant amount of cash to put a 20/25% down payment in order to see some decent cash flow. Also, definitely look into investing in multi-family houses, as you'll see a bigger return on these.

I have several investment properties here in NJ and although you can still find some deal, you have to be actively be searching for them and know how to calculate a good ROI. If you like to further discuss the process I use, feel free to PM me. NJ can be a little tricky but it's definitely doable, just have to have the right resources and guidance.
