Private Sewerage to City Sewer Cost Estimate

I noticed that homes with private sewerage tend to be cheaper than those connected to the city.

On the average, how much does it cost to convert a private sewerage to the city sewer system in the Greater Boston market?

Does it make economic sense to buy a house with private sewerage with the expectation that it will command a high value if changed to the city sewerage?
