I am a new investor looking to get things going in the Freeport, Brunswick, Maine area. I am a merchant marine, which gives me quite a bit of time off to work on REI projects. I'm looking to get started by flipping single family homes or renting them in my area. I've been reading up quite a bit on REI both on here and other places. What I am looking for is possibly an investor/partner to give me that push to get started. I enjoy rehabbing and improving houses, I just need some motivation to figure out the financial aspects involved. Anybody have any advice on where I might meet some interested partners/investors?
