Hello, I know that paying private landowners is a thing, however, I am having a bit more trouble finding literature on buying land for the purpose of commercial hunting use.
Does anyone know about this type of REI or have any experience?

Buying land for hunting is common on the east coast. The valuation equation becomes complicated because it's all about 'execution'. Getting people to your commercial hunting tract (air travel, generally) and having success during their stay are critical. Hyde county NC is big bear territory and those who groom land for hunting can make a decent living managing the business of 'land management'. Work with state and local (county) game management and game wardens and you will find good answers that, generally, work for everyone... hunters, land owners, and the public.
