Hello, my name is Dana and I am new to this site including any means of investing. I am a federal employee and the government shutdown really affected me emotionally. I immediately panicked and began to research other means of working for myself and not someone else. I don’t want to feel like a hostage ever again from the government withholding our pay. In light of that, I been feeling lost and looking for avenues to become a real estate investor. I attended a rich dad poor dad seminar yesterday in search of tools but I felt like it was a sales pitch, I did end up getting suckered into the 3 day seminar by which Iam thankful for this site after researching that I can do my own studying for free or pickup books from libraries or online. I am within my 3 day cancellation period so I will be canceling the $495 tomorrow. I am here now in search of some guidance of where to start, what books to read, if someone so kindly can help me with my scattered brained so I can get to work on business. Thank you for reading this.
