I want to star investing in the Orlando fl and surrounding areas. Can anyone help point me in the right direction on where to do research and maybe meets and association or groups in the area?

There are plenty of areas nowhere even near disney that are great investments. BUT that being said, its all about what price you can purchase the asset, and what you plan on doing with it. Our rental market tough right now to pick up great rentals, and our flip market has a ton of competition bidding on properties. A lot of my friends are either sitting on the sideline, or are looking into other markets at the moment. We personally dumped our rental portfolio here except for 5 houses and have been purchasing out of state instead.
