Question: Sell Vehicle or Keep?

Hey BP quick question... I own a 2014 lexus IS250 f sport. I love the car its luxurious, its comfortable, and pretty sweet looking. As I grow older (25 hahaha) I am becoming more frugal and more careful with my money. When I bought this vehicle I was nothing like that. I made a 6k down payment on it, have paid 13/72 months at 3.9% and currently owe 19k on it. I have been getting many appraisals for 16-17k and am scared to sell because I will be underwater about 2-3k. I want to cut down costs all around the board but in return I get a less valuable vehicle and practically lose the down payment. Am I better off keeping the car with hopes to sell it for 10-12k once I completely own it OR buy a cheaper car (7-9k), make less payments, and ultimately own it in 60 months as well. Thoughts?
