I inherited a property with 2 unpermitted ADUs.

One year ago, after both my parents passed away, I inherited their house with two ADUs. Unfortunately, my father did not pull permits when he built both properties 18 years ago. I never paid much attention to it because it was around when I moved away from Fort Worth. Now that I have begun to explore the options of ADUs I have found that Fort Worth is not ADU friendly. Both units previously had family living in them. Family occupies the main house and one ADU. No one pays rent. Does anyone have any advice? Any recommendations?

@Carolina Calvo I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the weight you feel with both parents passed away and now you are left with things that constantly remind you of them.

Regarding your post I don't think this is really an issue. If they have been there for 18 years and haven't had any problems with the city. I don't see them being a problem now
