Here are two that are really the same:
"Patience and persistence will overcome most obstacles"
"There's nothing for it, Mr. Baggins".
The first is quoted by another member on a metalworking forum I sometimes visit. I'm not sure about the original source. The second is my mis-remembering of something Sam said to Frodo when Frodo was ready to give up when they were trying to get to Mt. Doom. I guess they're sort of the same as @Jim Howell quote. There are many situations where the obsticals seem insurmountable. If you roll over and give up, they are. If you keep pushing, almost anything can be overcome.
