Tree on the neighbor side

Jake Kim
Posted

I have a rental property in Florida and there is this really big branch right over my rental property and the branch is very long and thick which cover half of the property. The branch looks pretty dangerous and tree is very old. The tree is on the neighborhood side. What options are there for me to be proactive before something happens? I don't think insurance will cover cutting down the tree or the branch for being "dangerous."

I doubt this is different in Florida.  In most states, you can cut any branches that overhang your property.
