Indiana LLC Self Managing

If an LLC wants to self manage in Indiana, is that ok? I've read that in Indiana you need to be licensed Real Estate Broker to do real estate tasks around property management. However, it was not clear if this only applies to 3rd party properties, not self-managed. What is your experience with this?
