Earnest Money Deposit for Wholesaler

I am new to Wholesaling. I have been studying this for a few years now, but now I'm trying to get my feet wet. From the research I have done, almost everyone says they pay a $10 Earnest Money Deposit. I have been having a little trouble with that and was wondering if anyone can advise how to get a low EMD accepted? Right now, since I'm brand new, the most I would like to pay is $100, but how?

Thanks,

Denisha
